Not only is he a successful tax attorney and respected lecturer, he’s an avid opera fan and board member of Opera Roanoke. His practice—emphasizing estate planning, business entity considerations and tax planning—may not be high on drama. But his free time, as Chair of the Opera’s Planned Giving Committee and Treasurer, is full of the passion and plot twists that only opera can provide. Ted received his B.A. degree from Princeton in 1968, his law degree from the University of Virginia in 1973, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University in 1974. He is a member of the Trusts and Estates Sections of the Virginia Bar Association and the Taxation Section of the American Bar Association, and has served as a member of the Virginia Bar Association Committee on Trusts and Estates.
