Paul Beers and Phillip Lingafelt have many years of experience representing defendants in criminal cases. Their practice extends to both federal and state court, and they are also available to assist with appeals to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and other appellate courts.

Amanda Shaw has worked for over twelve years in criminal defense - arguing cases at every level of state court in Virginia. She's a member of the Roanoke Bar Association's Board of Directors.  Her experience allows her to work with clients to craft litigation plans focused on achieving their goals.

Several criminal cases in which we have served as defense counsel have been published, including United States v. Villarini, 238 F.3d 530 (4th Cir. 2001) and United States v. Ellis, 121 F.3d 908 (4th Cir. 1997).
