September 15, 2010 – U.S. News Media Group, the nation's leading source of rankings and service journalism and Best Lawyers, the leading survey of lawyers worldwide, recently announced the expansion of the U.S. News signature series of rankings to include an assessment of law firms. The Best Lawyers publication, which hits newsstands today, ranked three Glenn, Feldmann, Darby& Goodlatte attorneys – covering four practice areas. U.S. News & World Report has posted online at www.usnews.com/bestlawfirms the first-tier rankings by state which includes GFD&G in these four practice areas. Selections are based on an exhaustive and rigorous peer-review survey comprising more than 3.1 million confidential evaluations of the top attorneys nationwide. The recipients are as follows:
Paul G. Beers Commercial Litigation
Harwell “Sam” M. Darby, Jr. Business/Corporate Public Finance
Maryellen F. Goodlatte Real Estate
“GFD&G has built a strong reputation for good work and creative solutions,” said Maryellen Goodlatte. “Considering the immense competition for these categories, it is an honor to be recognized.”
