Roanoke, Virginia – The Jefferson Center in Roanoke formally announced David I. Tenzer from the law firm of Glenn, Feldmann, Darby & Goodlatte as the new Board of Directors Chairman. Elected by the Board of Directors in June and Tenzer will begin his one year term in July 2010. He assumes the office most recently held by Ed Hall of Hall & Associates.
“We are excited to have David assume the leadership role, especially at this time of change and opportunity,” said Interim-Executive Director, John Levin. “He brings fresh ideas, extensive knowledge of the organization, a true passion for the arts and a deep understanding of the important role Jefferson Center plays in supporting arts and education in the Roanoke regional community.”

Roanoke, VA - The law firm of Glenn, Feldmann, Darby & Goodlatte announced the election of associate attorney Amanda E. Shaw to The Roanoke Bar Association Board of Directors. Elections were held at the Bar Association annual meeting on June 8, 2010, at The Shenandoah Club in downtown Roanoke. The 2-year term of service begins immediately.
Over the past twelve years, Amanda, a skilled litigator, has argued cases at every level of state court in Virginia, including the Supreme Court of Virginia and the Virginia Court of Appeals, and has appeared in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia. She joined Glenn, Feldmann, Darby & Goodlatte in 2009 where she is teamed with other experienced attorneys to provide representation to businesses, individuals, non-profits, and municipal interests.
