As an expert in estate and tax planning, Ted has spent his career helping clients preserve and protect their assets. His extensive experience allows him to be as comfortable and capable of helping corporate clients protect the interest of their shareholders as he is at helping parents plan for their children’s future.  Widely respected for his experience and depth of knowledge in this complex and ever-changing field, Ted is a frequent presenter at professional, educational and trade organizations and has authored articles in a wide range of publications. 
Whether he is providing counsel to businesses, individuals or the other attorneys of GFD&G, Ted regularly proves that experience and knowledge serve clients well as they face even the most complex and challenges.  He is a respected member of Roanoke and Western Virginia's legal and business community – reflecting his exceptional ethical standards and demonstration of professional excellence.  He is currently Of Counsel to the firm and continues to serve as a leader in his field and in the Roanoke community.
